JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Title:  District Technology Support Specialist for Conestoga Public Schools

Job Title Code:  4175

Number of Days Worked:  260 days

Department:  Information Systems & Technology

FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

Immediate Supervisor:  District Personnel and  ESU #3 Chief Information Officer

Staff Supervised:  None

  

Essential Requirements:  

  1. No history of child abuse or negligence.
  2. Post-high school training or degree preferred. 
  3. Basic understanding and knowledge of Audio Video Systems and their set up along with the capacity & willingness to learn systems’ upgrades or new applications. 
  4. Knowledge of Video Conferencing Systems along with the ability to troubleshoot these systems.
  5. Advanced knowledge of Mac and Windows based computers systems, iOS, and Android operating systems with the ability to do basic repairs.
  6. Video editing knowledge and skill.  
  7. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. 
  8. Successfully pass required background checks.
  9. Regular and dependable in person attendance is required and is considered a condition of employment.
  10. The assigned duties of this position are not eligible for remote work consideration.

 

  Essential Responsibilities: 

  1. Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.
  2. Provide Technical Support to Teachers, Staff and Students
  1. Identify possible areas for improvement and work with District     Administrators and ESU Administrators for implementation.
  2. Work within a helpdesk environment
  3. Be familiar with the technologies below
  1. Other duties as assigned.

Evaluation:  Annually, by District Personnel and the Chief Information Officer.

Compensation:  Annual Salary to be set by the ESU #3 Board.
